Each month, millions of people worldwide use OLX to find and sell a wide range of products, from computers and mobile phones to furniture, sporting goods, cars, real estate, and much more. OLX connects people, empowering sellers to make extra money by listing items they no longer use, while buyers find great products at affordable prices.
OLX is a useful platform that stimulates the local economy and promotes the reuse of second-hand items, reducing waste and supporting environmental sustainability.
CHALLENGE
Helping users make informed decisions while driving growth
OLX needed to develop its existing blog with thorough, high-quality content that would help users make more informed purchasing decisions. The blog was a key resource for showcasing the range of products available on the platform, but it lacked the depth needed to position OLX as an authoritative voice in product reviews and buyer guides.
Additionally, OLX needed a content strategy that could attract more qualified traffic to their platform, while answering common user questions and concerns. At the same time, they aimed to boost their presence on Google, optimizing the platform’s content to appear in strategic keywords that would drive more relevant visitors to their marketplace. The overall goal was to increase user trust, enhance brand authority, and grow organic traffic to their listings.
Another layer of this challenge was the Business Academy Blog, which targets professional advertisers using OLX. The brand needed to replicate the success of their consumer blog for this professional audience, creating highly relevant, engaging content tailored to advertisers while ensuring the SEO strategy was just as robust.

Improve the platform's blog and content strategy
We started by focusing on what mattered most – organizing the website’s content in a way that allowed users to easily find what they were looking for, while also making the experience engaging and relatable.
Expert content creation for B2C and B2B audiences
Recognizing the diverse needs of both consumer and business users, we developed expert content tailored to each group. For B2C, content focused on user-friendly insights and practical buying advice, while for B2B, we emphasized industry trends, ROI-driven recommendations, and detailed product analyses, positioning OLX as a trusted resource for both audiences.
SEO enhacement
Each article was optimized for SEO, focusing on high-intent keywords related to OLX’s product categories. We carefully researched search queries that reflected users’ buying concerns, ensuring the content addressed these and was visible in relevant search results. Technical SEO improvements were also made to ensure the content performed well in search rankings, optimizing for mobile responsiveness, page speed, and user experience across devices.
Video marketing for product reviews
To enhance engagement and provide richer insights, we introduced video marketing into our product reviews. These videos offer in-depth visual demonstrations and expert commentary, helping users make informed decisions by seeing the products in action and understanding their key benefits firsthand.
Content maintenance
